Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Direct Hire)
\n Location: Paris, Kentucky (Onsite with potential for 1 remote day per week)
\n Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 annually

Job Summary:
\nWe are seeking an experienced and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Paris, KY. This direct hire position requires ownership of the full accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, vendor communications, and support during month-end and year-end close.
Key Responsibilities:
\n\nManage and maintain vendor records and documentation
\n\t\n\tReview, match, batch, and code invoices accurately
\n\t\n\tVerify invoice approvals and assign proper G/L account codes
\n\t\n\tProcess weekly check runs and issue vendor payments
\n\t\n\tAssist with month-end and year-end closing activities
\n\t\n\tRespond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies
\n\t\n\tMaintain organized AP files including open, closed, and archived records
\n\t\n\tSupport fixed asset documentation and petty cash management
\n\t\n\tRespond promptly to emails, calls, and internal requests
\n\t\n\tFollow company policies and accounting procedures
\n\t\n\tIdentify and recommend improvements in AP processes
\n\t\n\tPerform additional duties as assigned
\n\t\nQualifications:
\n\nAccounts payable experience preferred; general accounting background accepted
\n\t\n\tExcellent organizational and time management skills
\n\t\n\tAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
\n\t\n\tStrong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
\n\t\n\tProfessional communication skills, both verbal and written
\n\t\n\tAbility to maintain confidentiality
\n\t\n\tProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
