Job Description
Job Summary:
As a Commercial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings. This role requires a strong knowledge of electrical systems, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair wiring, electrical systems, and fixtures in commercial buildings
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
Ensure electrical systems comply with local and national codes
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
Follow all company and OSHA safety protocols
Qualifications:
Valid state electrician license (Journeyman or Master preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial electrical work
Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and codes
Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
