Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

This is a contract position designed to support a re-work project. The primary responsibility involves disassembling and reassembling a plastic unit that is part of voting booth machines. The role requires the use of basic hand tools, lifting parts and boxes weighing around 20 lbs, and following basic mechanical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble plastic units for voting booth machines.
• Use basic hand tools effectively.
• Lift parts and boxes up to 20 lbs.
• Follow basic mechanical instructions accurately.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in assembly tasks.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Soldering experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with small hand tools and soldering tools.
• Ability to assemble circuit boards, wire assemblies, and small parts.
• Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Reliability and commitment to work through the rest of the year without missing work.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility with multiple smaller assembly stations. The team consists of 10-15 people in assembly working collaboratively. Dress code is casual, requiring close-toed shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt. The shift is from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday.

$60,320.00

Salary Max

$70,720.00

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
