Get ready to join an exciting and dynamic team as a Permanent Certified Home Inspector. This is a thrilling opportunity for a professional who has a knack for details and a passion for ensuring safety and quality in residential construction. If you have a background in the trades and handyman experience, we encourage you to apply. This role will require you to utilize your expertise in examining residential properties, specifically high-end homes, and ensure they meet all relevant codes and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be physically able to navigate through crawl spaces and climb ladders to conduct thorough inspections. This role requires 5+ years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive inspections of residential properties to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
• Utilizing your handyman skills to detect issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, structural integrity, and other critical home systems.
• Preparing detailed reports on your findings and presenting them to relevant parties, including homeowners and construction teams.
• Navigating through tight spaces and climbing ladders to inspect all areas of the home, including roofs and crawl spaces.
• Offering recommendations for repairs and improvements based on your inspections.
• Staying up-to-date with industry standards, new regulations, and best practices in home inspection.

Qualifications:

• Certified Home Inspector with 5+ years of experience in the field.
• Proven handyman skills with a strong understanding of construction trades.
• Experience inspecting residential properties, with a preference for high-end homes.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot potential issues or violations.
• Physically capable of navigating through crawl spaces and climbing ladders to conduct inspections.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations.
• Up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
• Ability to prepare detailed reports on inspection findings.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards in home inspection.
