Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Middletown, Connecticut. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to analyze data, design insightful dashboards, and create actionable reports that drive decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with professionals across various disciplines while utilizing advanced BI tools to transform complex data into strategic solutions.

• Develop and implement comprehensive BI solutions using tools like Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
• Analyze and interpret data to generate meaningful insights that support organizational goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and ensure data accuracy.
• Create visually compelling dashboards and reports tailored to user requirements.
• Ensure the integrity and security of data systems while managing access controls.
• Provide training and guidance to teams on the use of BI tools and methodologies.
• Monitor and optimize BI processes to improve efficiency and performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance business intelligence capabilities.
• Conduct data validation and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align BI strategies with broader business objectives.

• Proven experience in Business Intelligence (BI) development and implementation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Tableau for dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to interact with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of data security and governance best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with industry trends and advancements in BI tools and technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Criminal Justice, Business, or related field preferred.
