We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Auto/Liability Claims Adjuster to join our client's team. This role involves managing a variety of commercial auto and physical damage claims while delivering excellent service to all stakeholders.

Compensation

• $55,000 - $85,000/year based on years of experience

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in handling commercial auto or liability claims.
• Strong understanding of commercial auto insurance policies, repair processes, and estimating systems (e.g., CCC, Mitchell, Audatex).
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Adjuster license in applicable states is required or must be obtained.
• Knowledge of state and federal transportation regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of commercial auto and liability claims from initial reporting to final resolution.
• Investigate claims thoroughly by reviewing documentation, interviewing involved parties, and coordinating with appraisers.
• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages based on policy language and applicable laws.
• Determine appropriate reserves and monitor them throughout the life of the claim.
• Coordinate repair estimates and manage relationships with body shops and appraisers.
