In the role of Laborer II, you will have the opportunity to assist our wireline team in the installation of fiber optic cables for various telecommunication projects. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to grow their career in the utility construction industry. You'll work in a dynamic environment that may require physical flexibility, such as sitting, squatting, standing, walking, and climbing. While onsite, you may encounter various sounds or noise levels. You'll also experience different weather conditions, ranging from hot and humid to cold and snowy. Your safety is paramount, and you'll be required to wear common protective safety equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots.
To be considered for this opportunity, we require a minimum of 1 year of utility construction experience and at least 6 months of heavy equipment operations, including Hydro, Drill, Mini, and Plow. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary, and a CDL License (or the ability to obtain one) is also required.
The starting pay for this position is $24 per hour and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
