Distribution Center Manager (Mandarin Speaking)

Middlesex County, NJ | On-Site | $85,000 – $95,000

A growing national distribution network is seeking a Distribution Center Manager to lead warehouse operations across a diverse inventory of food and retail products. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity ideal for a strategic leader with proven logistics experience and a strong command of inventory systems, operational best practices, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and outbound logistics
• Lead and mentor warehouse staff and supervisors, setting clear expectations and tracking performance
• Oversee inventory processes, ensuring accuracy through cycle counts and replenishment systems
• Drive safety, compliance, and productivity through SOPs and team training
• Monitor KPIs and develop solutions for workflow efficiency and service level improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align distribution activities with business needs
• Coordinate with vendors and carriers to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries
• Manage budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing quality
• Support capital improvement projects and continuous process enhancements
• Maintain WMS, operational reports, and enforce quality control standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years of warehouse or distribution management experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing warehouse teams
• Mandarin fluency required
• Strong knowledge of WMS, Google Suite, and warehouse safety standards
• Food industry experience and certifications (HACCP, GMP, SQF) preferred
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate warehouse tools and equipment
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and computer use
