Job Description
At Soar Autism Center, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and their families—especially those with autism. Our approach is nurturing and child-centered, offering a variety of services tailored to the unique needs of each child. We believe in early engagement and provide comprehensive support through play-based, developmental, and therapeutic activities.
As an Early Childhood Provider, you’ll have a remarkable opportunity to support the growth and development of young children (ages 2–6) diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In this entry-level role, you’ll collaborate with a team of specialists including Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), and Occupational Therapists (OTs). No prior certification is required—we provide all the training you'll need to succeed.
This role is a great fit for:
Recent college graduates looking to jumpstart their careers: Psychology, early childhood education, special education, child development, or teaching degree holders
People with childcare experience who love working with kids: Preschool teachers, daycare workers, paraprofessionals, Montessori teachers or assistants, nannies, babysitters, tutors, substitute teachers, Sunday School teachers, or similar
Healthcare professionals seeking a new path: Home health aides, behavioral health technicians, psychiatric aides, child life specialists, or similar
Encore career changers looking for a meaningful, mission-driven role supporting kids and families
Responsibilities
Provide individualized support to young children (ages 2–6) in a clinic-based setting using play-based and naturalistic therapy techniques
Follow intervention plans developed by clinicians in behavior analysis, speech therapy, and occupational therapy
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent, high-quality care
Build trusting relationships with children and families while promoting developmental milestones
Qualifications
Experience working with young children, especially ages 2–6, ideally in a structured or professional setting
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Comfort using computers and tablets
Reliable transportation to training and assigned center locations; punctuality is essential
Must meet physical requirements: ability to sit/kneel on the floor, lift up to 50 lbs., move quickly, and support children as needed during sessions
Preference for candidates pursuing or holding a college degree
What We Offer

Generous PTO and holiday schedule
Optional unpaid leave through our “Time for You” program
Career growth in behavior analysis, early childhood education, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and more
Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week for full-time employees
