Our client is looking for a Warehouse Technician in San Jose, CA
- Job Type: 6-month contract to hire
- Pay: $22/hr
Youll be joining a team of dedicated professionals with the opportunity to learn environmental regulations and how we remove hazardous materials from the waste stream.
Key Responsibilities:
Consolidate, treat, store, transport, and/or dispose of hazardous waste following established environmental regulations and best practices.
Operate within all compliance requirements, including OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and customer-specific policies.
Documentation & Compliance:
Accurately complete all required paperwork, labels, and logs in a timely and legible manner.
Maintain records in accordance with applicable environmental regulations and company protocols.
Safely lift and carry containers weighing up to 50 pounds multiple times throughout the day.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mobile equipment to move waste containers to and from storage, treatment areas, and trailers.
Load and unload trailers in compliance with safety procedures.
Qualifications & Certifications:
Required:
Completion of 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training (or willingness to obtain).
Preferred:
Forklift certification (will provide training if not currently certified).
