Job Title: Equipment Operator
Job Description

Join a leading provider of high-quality architectural precast components as an Equipment Operator. You will be part of a dedicated production team, contributing to the creation of architectural panels and custom fabrications. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and develop new skills in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direct supervision of a crew leader to learn basic skills such as Sandblaster Operator, Heavy Equipment Operator, and Forklift Operator.
• Perform heavy lifting, yard work, and cleaning tasks as required.
• Show consistent improvement in skill performance and take initiative to remain productive throughout the workday.
• Inform the Crew Leader of availability to perform additional tasks related to the fabrication of precast concrete products.
• Ensure regular and timely attendance in accordance with company policy.
• Demonstrate loyalty to the company and mutual respect for colleagues.
• Function as a team player and look for ways to improve work processes.
• Assume responsibility for maintaining plant safety in line with the Safety Manual and guidance from the Safety Coordinator.

• Experience with hand tools and concrete assembly.
• Proficiency as a Sandblaster Operator, Heavy Equipment Operator, and Forklift Operator.
• Understanding of construction and loading processes.
• Ability to use a tape measure accurately.

• 1+ year of previous sandblasting and heavy equipment experience.
• Ability to work on your feet for 50+ hours a week.
• Consistent ability to produce high-quality products.
• Basic understanding of geometry.

Work Environment

Work in an industrial environment where you may be exposed to the elements while sandblasting panels. Expect a dusty and dirty setting, working alongside 20 other panel builders. Utilize heavy equipment in daily tasks and embrace a collaborative team atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corsicana, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
