Job Description

Seeking an experienced ESL Teacher with Spanish language skills to support middle school students in a vibrant educational setting. This contract position is for the current school year and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on learners developing their English language proficiency.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging ESL instruction tailored to middle school students linguistic and academic needs
Incorporate Spanish language skills to assist English Language Learners in comprehension and communication
Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to create inclusive lesson plans
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds
Participate in professional development and school meetings as required

Desired Qualifications:

Valid teaching certification with ESL endorsement or equivalent qualifications
Fluency in Spanish, both spoken and written
Experience teaching ESL in a middle school environment preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Commitment to student growth and cultural sensitivity

Duration: Current School Year (Contract)
