As an Estate Planning Attorney, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Drafting, reviewing, and advising on a wide range of estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
2. Advising clients on estate and gift tax planning, probate avoidance, and asset protection strategies.
3. Assisting in the administration of trusts and estates, including probate proceedings, trust modifications, and trust terminations.
4. Providing guidance on related legal issues such as business succession planning, charitable giving, and special needs planning.
5. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure a deep understanding of their estate planning needs and objectives.

Job Details

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Estate Planning Attorney position, you must meet the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the California Bar.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters.
4. Strong knowledge of California estate planning law and federal tax law.
5. Excellent drafting and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
