North American Construction Services, Ltd. is hiring a permanent Field Service Engineer to join our team in Pinson, AL.

  • Analyze the customer site situation, assemble information from the customer regarding the open issues, and create a plan to remedy identified opportunities
  • \n
  • Responsible for commissioning, tuning, and troubleshooting a variety of combustion systems
  • \n
  • Be able to navigate through PLC and HMI programs, making program changes with the supervision of the control group
  • \n
  • Identify code compliance deviations and draft code compliance letters as required
  • \n
  • Assign quotes, create project folders, estimate, generate proposals, JSA's, and project books for field services
  • \n
  • Support external and internal sales opportunities
  • \n

  • Availability to travel, up to 80%
  • \n
  • Work experience with equipment troubleshooting or commissioning
  • \n
  • Demonstrated hands-on mechanical and electrical system work
  • \n
  • Understanding of reading drawings and developing BOMs for costing
  • \n
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial process control or a related field, or a combination of training and experience that provides equivalent skills, knowledge, and abilities
  • \n
  • Associate degree in electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation technology, or equivalent experience
  • \n
