About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled  Google Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud solutions on  Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure modernization, and cloud security best practices. This role requires a deep understanding of GCP services, cloud migration strategies, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performing cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement  secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud architectures on  Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .

  • Develop and execute  cloud migration strategies for enterprise applications and data.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on  GCP best practices , including networking, security, identity and access management, and cost optimization.

  • Collaborate with  DevOps and engineering teams to streamline  CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC)practices.

  • Ensure compliance with  industry standards, security regulations, and organizational policies .

  • Conduct  cloud readiness assessments and recommend suitable GCP services and configurations.

  • Develop and maintain  documentation, architectural diagrams, and technical guidelines .

  • Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and optimize performance, scalability, and resilience.

  • Stay updated with  emerging GCP technologies and industry trends .

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in  cloud architecture and engineering .

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with  Google Cloud Platform (GCP)services, including  Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and IAM .

  • Strong knowledge of  networking concepts, security frameworks, and cloud-native application design .

  • Experience with  Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools .

  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using  Python, Bash, or PowerShell .

  • Familiarity with  DevOps methodologies, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) .

  • Strong understanding of  cloud security, identity management, and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC 2, NIST, etc.) .

  • Experience with  hybrid and multi-cloud environments .

  • Strong communication and leadership skills to interact with stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification (strongly preferred).

  • Experience in  data engineering, AI/ML solutions, or cloud-native application development .

  • Familiarity with  multi-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure) .

  • Hands-on experience with  serverless computing and event-driven architectures .
