The job involves interviewing applicants for various insurance products, including Medicare Supplement, Convalescent Care, and Life insurance, in a manner that is professional, patient, honest, confidential, and efficient. The candidate must have knowledge of Prescription Drugs and Conditions Treated, with preference given to those with Pharmacy Tech experience. The role requires customer service experience, attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, insurance experience, and knowledge of medical terminology. This is not a remote position and the candidate must be local. Primary responsibilities include working scheduled shifts with possible overtime, conducting phone interviews on outbound and inbound calls, verifying application information, following telephone scripts, pulling supplemental questionnaires for medical conditions and medications, ensuring accuracy of information gathered, entering completed interviews into the computer, and routing files to the appropriate department. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED with one year of experience, strong language and reasoning skills, honesty, and respect for company policies. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
