Job Description

Job Title: HR Specialist

Location: Statesboro, GA (100% Onsite)

Contract Length: 5 Months

Pay Rate: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour

About the Role:

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated HR Specialist to support day-to-day human resources operations at our Statesboro, GA facility. This is a 100% onsite role on a 5-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations , full-cycle HR support, and compliance—not just staffing or talent acquisition.

You’ll be a critical member of the team, responsible for ensuring smooth HR processes, maintaining updated employee records, and promoting a healthy and compliant workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, including requisitions, offers, pre-employment activities, onboarding, and OFCCP reporting
  • Prepare compensation and benefits packages and maintain accurate employee records
  • Conduct new hire orientation and ensure company policies and procedures are well communicated
  • Generate HR and plant leadership reports, and manage documentation for employee/job status changes
  • Assist in employee relations issues and vendor communications
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs
  • Support employee recognition initiatives and community engagement activities
  • Participate in safety initiatives including audits, training delivery, job safety analysis, and incident reviews
  • Compile monthly and annual HR data reports
  • Support the HR Manager in executing corporate HR programs and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years HR experience (preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting)
  • Strong experience in employee relations is essential
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Proficiency in Google Suite , HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, ATS, eTime, PeopleSoft), and standard HR processes
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety reporting
