Shift :weekend/weekday evening hours; 24hrs weekly, room to pick up more, Holidays included

The Role You'll Contribute Responsible for assisting technologists and taking radiologic imaging to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role provides patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards. In addition, this position adheres to compliance plans and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies.
The Value You'll Bring To The Team Assists in patient care duties within scope of practice, including transporting patient and using proper infection control techniques.
Assists technologists with preparing patients for radiology exams by positioning them for the procedure.
Assists technologists with maintaining accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
Ability to follow basic radiation safety concepts of time, distance and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patient and staff.
Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks. Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: High school graduate or equivalent
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
