Job Title: Landscape Architect/Designer Location: Houston, Texas Type: Direct Hire Compensation: DOE Work Model: Onsite System One is assisting a Commercial Landscape Architectural firm in hiring a Landscape Architect/Designer with heavy emphasis on the Project Management side. Requirements: 5-8 years experience in Landscape Architecture and PM work on a diverse range of projects. Must have a full scope background ranging from the individual contribution in design, to client comms, managing schedules, and directing staff. Licensed Landscape Architect in Texas preferred. but not required. The client is willing to review Landscape Designers interested in pursuing their license, actively working towards their license, candidates who possess more experience in design and PM work to offset the lack of license, etc. Software: AutoCAD required. Familiarity/exposure to InDesign, Lumion, Sketchup, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite. Education: Bachelors and/or Masters in Landscape Architecture highly preferred. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. This position will be interacting with clients, consultants, and internal teams, so clarity and professionalism is important. Solid time management and organizational abilities. The position will be juggling multiple projects, deadlines, and meetings, and it’s extremely important to stay on top of priorities without letting details slip through the cracks.
