The estimated base pay for this position is $53.61 to $80.34. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

POSITION SUMMARY: RN, Nurse Lead

\n

The RN, Nurse Lead works with Department Manager and Director to ensure the planning, coordination and provision of nursing care to patients on specified units and shifts. Supervises and delegates care responsibilities to nursing and ancillary personnel, commensurate with their scope of practice. Promotes the use of best practices in the delivery of patient care. Facilitates Lean Daily Management activities. Works collaboratively with leadership to promote professional nursing practice and behavior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
  • \n
  • Associate's Degree or Equivalent: Required
  • \n
  • Bachelor's Degree/BSN: Preferred
  • \n
  • Minimum one-year previous Labor & Delivery experience: Required
  • \n
  • Previous charge nurse experience in an acute care setting: Preferred
  • \n
\n

Licenses and Certifications:

  • BLS: Required
  • \n
  • ACLS: Required
  • \n
  • NRP: Required
  • \n
  • California RN License: Required
  • \n
  • Fetal Monitoring Course: Required
  • \n
  • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring Course every two (2) years: Required
  • \n
  • RNC: Preferred
  • \n
