Join our Maintenance team at the Great Escape Lodge as a part-time Painter, where your artistry and craftsmanship will help create a stunning atmosphere for our guests. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with proven experience in painting lodge facilities and structures, along with a basic knowledge of carpentry. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the high quality standards that define our property, ensuring that every corner reflects the welcoming charm and professionalism of our Lodge. • Maintain hotel facilities and structures in regard to painting of buildings, and wood structures
• Self-starter with an eye for detail
• Make recommendations to leadership on project work and needs
• Responsible to perform basic carpentry work in conjunction with repairs and painting projects
• Keep all daily repair logs and journals current and accurate of maintenance performed
• Promote a safe working environment, abiding by all safety guidelines and procedures
• Work requires extensive detail and edge work
• Keep all work areas clean and free of debris

• Must possess practical painting skills for buildings.
• Must have a basic knowledge of carpentry, including drywall repairs
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a clear driving record
• Required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, occasionally required to sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and may frequently lift and/or move 70 pounds. Specific vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus required.
• Required to work at heights above 80 feet
