Title: Mainframe Developer

Location: Chandler, AZ

Duration: 12+ months.

Job Description

• Develop, test, and maintain COBOL applications in an IBM zOS environment.
• Perform CICS development tasks, including new development and debugging/refactoring of existing code.
• Execute large-scale batch processes using JCL.
• Manage and optimize databases using DB2 or equivalent relational database platforms.
• Utilize enterprise job scheduling packages (CA7, CA11, AutoSys) to manage job workflows.
• Implement and maintain source control using Endevor.
• Develop and integrate web services and RESTful APIs.
• Handle VSAM files for data storage and retrieval.
• Work with MQ for messaging and communication between applications.
• Use debugging tools like Xpediter and Abend-AID to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years of combined experience in COBOL in an IBM zOS environment
• 7+ years of experience in CICS development, including new development and debugging/refactoring existing code
• 5+ years of experience using JCL to execute large-scale batch processes
• 5+ years of experience with DB2 or equivalent relational database platform
• 5+ years of experience using enterprise job scheduling packages such as CA7, CA11, and/or AutoSys
• 5+ years of experience using enterprise source control packages such as Endevor
• 3+ years of experience with web services and RESTful APIs
• 5+ years of experience using VSAM files
• 3+ years of experience with MQ
• 1+ years of experience with debugging tools like Xpediter and Abend-AID
