Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Marketing Coordinator to join our luxury boutique property, MOLLIE Aspen. As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives to promote our hotel, increase occupancy rates, and enhance guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have an interest in luxury hospitality marketing, a creative mindset, and excellent communication skills.

Employment Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Schedule: Varies, must be available to work holidays and weekends

Pay Rate: $25-$28/hour

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, hospitality management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in marketing; hospitality or luxury experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media, email marketing, and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling copy for social media, email marketing, and website.
  • Proficiency in using marketing analytics tools to track performance, analyze data, and derive actionable insights.
  • Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, with experience using InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues, clients, and external partners effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, increase revenue, and maintain a competitive edge in the hospitality market alongside the Brand Strategy and Marketing Manager.
  • Maintain the hotel's digital presence, including managing website content updates and website accuracy, social media scheduling and monitoring, and assistance with online advertising and email marketing campaigns in-line with content calendar.
  • Analyze content performance and collaborate with Brand Strategy & Marketing Manager on optimization and enhancement strategies.
  • Maintain the hotel's digital presence, including managing website content and accuracy, directing social media scheduling, monitoring, and community engagement, and supporting online advertising and email marketing campaigns in alignment with the content calendar.
  • Researching and writing compelling content, including social media posts, blog posts and marketing emails to showcase the hotel's amenities, services, and unique offerings.
  • Assist with the design and production of marketing materials, such as menus, brochures, flyers, presentations, and promotional merchandise, in collaboration with Brand Strategy and Marketing Manager.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in marketing strategies.
  • Cultivate relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and industry partners on collaborations that elevate the hotel's profile.
  • Work closely with Brand Strategy and Marketing Manager, Dreamweaver, Sales Manager, Rooms division and other hotel leaders and/or guests/influencers on content creation, social media content and promotion for special programming and events through various channels.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions, acting as a brand ambassador, and building relationships within the hospitality community as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Possess an understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, particularly in the context of the hospitality industry.
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office 365, WordPress, and GMS.
  • Effective oral and written communication including correct English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary.
  • Proficient in creating compelling content across various formats, including written, visual, and multimedia.
  • Ability to maintain brand consistency across all marketing efforts, ensuring that messaging, visual identity, and brand values are effectively communicated to target audiences.
  • Possess a creative mindset and the ability to generate innovative ideas for marketing campaigns, promotions, and branding initiatives.
  • Able to organize work, meet critical deadlines, and follow up on assignments with minimal direction.
  • Ability to prioritize when dealing with multiple outstanding tasks.
  • Problem solving and creative thinking.
  • Ability to use sound judgment when in stressful situations.
  • Knowledge of business email and telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and positive working relationships.
