About Sams Tutoring

Sams Tutoring is an online tutoring service dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized education for students from pre-K through college. We specialize in supporting all learners, including neurodivergent students such as those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other unique learning needs. Our mission is to make learning accessible and affordable while paying our tutors fairly and ensuring every student has the chance to grow in confidence and succeed academically.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Math Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, skilled in explaining complex mathematical concepts in clear and engaging ways, and committed to supporting students at their individual learning levels.

• Provide one-on-one online tutoring sessions in mathematics (elementary through high school; college-level experience is a plus).
• Assess each student’s needs and adapt instruction to match their learning style and pace.
• Foster student confidence and encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to update them on student progress.
• Create a supportive, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
  

• Education: Graduate-level degree preferred (Master’s degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or related field).
• Experience: At least one year of teaching or tutoring experience.
• Strong ability to teach up to high school math; ability to teach advanced or college-level math is a plus.
• Must pass a background check.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working with students of all abilities, including neurodivergent learners.
