Office Furniture Installer – Steelcase & Herman Miller Systems

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: Starting at $18/hour , with pay increases 20+ based on performance and experience

As an Office Furniture Installer , you'll play a key role in building and transforming modern office environments. From Steelcase and Herman Miller to other leading modular systems, you'll help create functional and inspiring spaces for businesses, schools, and healthcare organizations.

You'll assemble, install, and reconfigure cubicles, workstations, and modular furniture systems while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Each project brings new challenges - and the satisfaction of seeing a workspace come together because of your effort and skill.

• Install and assemble Steelcase, Herman Miller , and other modular office systems.

• Measure accurately to ensure perfect fit and professional installation.

• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and layout drawings.

• Unbox, inspect, and stage furniture and materials for installation.

• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

• Apply mechanical knowledge to ensure proper and secure assembly.

• Modify furniture components to fit custom layouts or design requirements.

• Apply basic electrical knowledge for workstation power connections and cable management.

• Perform light carpentry and furniture adjustments when needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

• Collaborate with team members and project leads to complete installations efficiently and accurately.

• 1–3+ years of experience with Steelcase, Herman Miller , or similar modular systems preferred.

• Ability to read blueprints and take precise measurements.

• Strong mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical work safely.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

• Dependable, professional, and a strong team player with attention to detail.

• Starting pay of $18/hour , with regular raises based on performance.
