Job Title: Order Picker

Job Description

As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for pulling orders for outbound company trucks or clients who visit the yard. You will operate sit-down forklifts and handle products located both outside in the product yard and inside the storage area. Additionally, you will utilize overhead hoists as needed and provide direct face-to-face customer service. General clean-up of the yard and production area will also be part of your duties.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders for outbound company trucks and walk-in clients.
• Operate sit-down forklifts efficiently.
• Handle and pick orders from both outdoor and indoor product locations.
• Utilize overhead hoists as necessary.
• Engage in direct face-to-face customer service.
• Perform general clean-up of the yard and production area.

Essential Skills

• 1 year of experience in order picking.
• Proficiency in material handling and inventory management.
• Experience with forklift operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in loading and picking tasks.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings, depending on where the product is located, requiring appropriate attire for each setting. Steel-toed boots are necessary, and attire includes jeans and a T-shirt. The company provides essential safety gear, such as a hard hat, safety vest, and safety glasses.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
