Job Description

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a Painter to join their team. As a Painter, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Painter

Location: Decorah, IA

Pay Range: 17.42-18.49 + shift differential

Shift: 2nd 4-10 hour shifts 

What's the Job?

• Review work orders to understand job requirements and specifications.
• Assemble letters or products to be painted and prepare necessary supplies.
• Mix paint accurately, ensuring proper consistency and matching samples if needed.
• Mask parts as required before applying paint or texture, and remove masking after drying.
• Spray products to meet customer specifications and uphold quality standards.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED, or demonstrated competency through work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in an industrial painting environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and physically qualified to wear a respirator.
• High mechanical aptitude and familiarity with process improvements.
• LEAN experience is a plus.
