Patient Registrar in Ashtabula, OH
LHH is seeking a Registrar for our healthcare client near Ashtabula! The individual in this role will work with patients in person to collect patient and demographic information. This position is hiring ASAP!

Job summary:

  • Employment method: Contract to Hire

  • Location: 100% onsite

  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 5AM-1PM; rotating weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Work with patients in-person to collect insurance and demographic information

  • Create new patient accounts when needed

  • Explain billing process to patients

  • Perform data entry of patient information into system

  • Collect copays as needed

Qualified candidates will have 6 months or more of experience in a medical administrative position, such as Medical Reception, Patient Access, Patient Services, or related

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
