Postdoctoral Clinical Fellow - Psychiatry/Behavioral Science **Galveston, Texas, United States** **New** Training & Education UTMB Health Requisition # 2506589 **JOB DESCRIPTION:** The postdoctoral fellow will conduct, report and present research in his/her field of study under the supervision of a faculty mentor. This is a training position and is not expected to be a permanent position. Scope: Institution-wide. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:** + Planandperformexperimentsindependently + Prepare labreports + Writesprotocol + Interacts with graduatestudents + Capable of presenting data atmeeting **MARGINAL OR PERIODIC FUNCTIONS:** + Performs related duties as assigned. **KNOWLEDGE I SKILLS I ABILITIES:** + Ability to plan and perform experiments independently. + Ability to observe and record experiments/research and report accurately. + Writing skills for protocols, reports, journal manuscripts and funding applications. + Mentoring and teaching skills for interaction with graduate students. + Presentation skills. **_MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:_** _Ph.D., M.D. or Doctoral equivalent in any field.
