Job Title: Estimator / Project Manager (Construction)

Location: Jeffersonville, IN

Job Type: Full-Time Permanent

Salary: $75,000 – $105,000 annually (based on experience)

About the Role:

Client is seeking a skilled Estimator / Project Manager to join our operations team in Jeffersonville, IN. This dual-role position is responsible for overseeing project bids, managing customer relationships, and supporting successful field execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong estimating experience, particularly with INDOT and KYTC projects, and excel in communication, coordination, and task management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with current clients and pursue new business opportunities.
• Perform Bridge, Grade, and Drain quantity takeoffs and cost estimations.
• Manage project documentation and assist in bidding processes.
• Coordinate closely with field superintendents and Area Manager to ensure project goals are met.
• Support the Contract Administrator with billing and collections.
• Act as the key liaison throughout the project lifecycle—from bid submission to final payment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in INDOT , KYTC , municipal , and commercial construction .
• Thorough understanding of INDOT and KYTC specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and digital takeoff software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with HCSS Heavy Bid/Heavy Job is highly preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering , or a related field,

OR

• Equivalent combination of relevant education and hands-on construction experience
