What will you do in this job?

• Assist with depot setup, gear management, gear cleaning, and parking duties at the West Glacier Rafting Depot
• Stage equipment, greet guests, and run shuttles for self-guided trips
• Give safety talks, demonstrate paddle skills, and help launch guests on self-guided trips
• Assist with maintenance, organization, and cleaning of Glacier Raft Co warehouses
• Store gear, repair and maintain rafts, repair and maintain camp equipment
• Help keep boats, shuttle vehicles, and barn area clean and maintained
• Keeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to supervisor
• Assists kitchen staff as needed with dinner setup
• Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed
• Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties
  
   

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

• As River Operations Support, work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
• Raft Company experience preferred but not required, we are happy to train!
• Have a willingness and ability to work solo and also as part of a team
• Be committed to Safety First and possess a keen eye for detail
• Be able to lift 75lbs and stand/walk for long periods
• Be organized with a great eye for detail
• Be kind to others and always bring your best
• Be a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions
