As a Security Officer - Unarmed Post - Government Site in Boise, ID , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an Allied Universal Patrol Officer assigned to a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and engaging with the public to provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location, including interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, suspicious activity, or hazards encountered during patrols.
  • Assist visitors and employees with questions or directions, providing a visible Allied Universal presence at the location.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and emergency responders as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrols for site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
