Job Description

A Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst for a 6-month contract (with strong potential to convert to full-time) to join an enterprise risk team engaged in an ongoing RCSA (Risk and Control Self-Assessment) project.

This role is critical in maintaining continuity on current risk initiatives.

Location & Work Environment

• Hybrid schedule : Minimum 3 days onsite in Hillsboro, OR (typically Monday–Wednesday; some flexibility allowed)
• M-F, 40hrs/week
• Team operates in an open, collaborative environment , so a flexible and communicative working style is essential

Key Responsibilities

• Support ongoing RCSA initiatives by evaluating risk and control effectiveness
• Identify and document inherent vs. residual risk , and develop risk mitigation strategies
• Conduct trend analysis , and leverage data to detect and communicate process risks or gaps
• Work cross-functionally to interpret business processes and identify control weaknesses and report gaps to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with analysts and administrators on the risk team, under the direction of team manager

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in banking operations or financial services risk functions Strong understanding of control frameworks and enterprise risk management (ERM) concepts
• Experience working on or supporting RCSA processes
• Proficiency in Excel , ERM platforms, and data analysis for risk trend identification.
• Ability to interpret and evaluate business processes for risk exposure and control gaps
• Experienced with Risk management – eGRC - tools (e.g., Protecht ERM)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in dynamic and fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with change management principles
• Six Sigma and M&A experience are not required, but nice to have
