Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React Native/RoR/AWS)

• Location: Pasadena, CA
• Salary: $160,000 - 190,000

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are a venture backed start up using cutting edge AI and ML.  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing scalable web and mobile applications using React Native, Ruby on Rails, and AWS. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications using React Native and Ruby on Rails.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end components.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers in an Agile environment.
• Optimize application performance and scalability on AWS infrastructure.
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Deploy applications using DevOps practices and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize NoSQL and SQL databases for data storage and retrieval.
• Contribute to architectural design decisions and the implementation of microservices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on React Native and Ruby on Rails.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GIT.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and unit testing.
