Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Join a growing and innovative tech team as a Site Reliability Engineer! Are you a tech maestro with a passion for orchestrating infrastructure like a symphony? We're on the lookout for a Site Reliability Engineer (or an Automation Engineer) to join a dynamic crew. This SRE will join a tech-savvy team crafting a brand new GCP environment through Infrastructure as Code (IaC). As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in building, automating, and optimizing our applications and services.

We are looking for a person with tremendous depth in technology infrastructure including on-prem and cloud environments, defining and delivering robust operating principles and processes. This is a senior role who collaborates with the developers, QA, and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient solutions for the customers. The SRE also monitors, troubleshoots, and resolves issues that may affect the user experience or the business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
• Automate provisioning and management of cloud and on-prem resources.
• Implement best practices for infrastructure as code, ensuring security and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud and on-prem solutions.
• Provide technical expertise, troubleshoot, and resolve issues affecting user experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Proven hands-on experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform and Ansible; Terraform associate certification is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Kubernetes and security - also willing to look at an AWS background if you're interested in moving over to GCP
• Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, etc.
