Job Description

ManTech is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Staff Information Security Analyst to support our Identity and Access Management (IAM) program in Chantilly, VA . This entry-level opportunity provides vital Tier 1 customer support for identity services in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You will be the first point of contact for users needing assistance with access, credentials, and identity-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing updates to personal identity information (PII) in DEERS, and provide support for Common Access Cards (CAC), tokens, and PIN resets
  • Deliver front-line support to users through helpdesk channels, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Monitor and respond to service tickets in systems such as JIRA and ServiceNow related to access and identity requests
  • Escalate complex issues as necessary while maintaining ownership of initial support interactions
  • Support documentation and reporting needs related to user access and credentials
  • Availability to work between 6:00 AM ET and 5:00 PM ET (shifts may vary)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of additional professional experience in lieu of degree
  • 2+ years of experience in a helpdesk, customer service, or IT support role
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts and troubleshooting methods
  • Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) or willingness to learn
  • Experience working with sensitive information such as PII
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to cybersecurity practices or training in related disciplines
  • Experience working in Department of Defense (DoD) environments
  • Previous experience with ticketing platforms such as JIRA or ServiceNow
  • Basic knowledge of identity and access management concepts

Security Clearance:

  • Must hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for this role

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain seated at a workstation for extended periods
  • Occasional movement within the office to access equipment or communicate with team members
  • Engage with users via email, phone, or virtual platforms; occasional participation in presentations
