Store Manager – Westwood, NJ
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Store Manager to lead daily operations at our high-volume dessert shop in Westwood, NJ. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and enjoys coaching a team to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing procedures, product preparation, inventory management, and cash handling.
Lead, train, and motivate a team of crew members to ensure high standards in service, cleanliness, and product quality.
Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak hours and seasonal rushes.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in accordance with company policies and local health regulations.
Monitor sales performance, control labor and food costs, and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
Provide an outstanding guest experience by engaging with customers, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering a positive atmosphere.
Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff development to build a reliable and enthusiastic team.
Coordinate local marketing efforts, promotions, and community engagement activities to drive traffic and brand awareness.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in food service or retail management required; quick-service or high-volume environments preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Comfort working in a hands-on role, including production, serving, and cleaning tasks as needed.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal times.
Reliable, proactive, and committed to providing exceptional guest service.
