Technical Project Manager | Contract | Hybrid (New York, NY)

Our client-a rapidly growing analytics and technology consulting firm-is looking for an expert leader to drive high-impact technical engagements across cloud development, data architecture, and advanced analytics.

This is a hybrid contract role based in New York City offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work with a team of forward-thinking professionals solving real business challenges.

About the Role:

As a Technical Project Manager , you will play a key role in managing end-to-end delivery of technical solutions, interfacing with both business stakeholders and engineering teams. This role combines hands-on project leadership, client management, and deep technical oversight.

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead full lifecycle technical projects from planning through execution
Manage hybrid teams of internal consultants, client-side staff, and offshore vendors
Work with clients to define business needs and translate them into actionable requirements
Oversee solution design across data architecture, analytics platforms, and cloud applications
Drive delivery using SDLC, Agile, and hybrid methodologies
Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure on-time, in-scope results
Provide hands-on leadership in cloud-based application development and data modeling
Facilitate effective communication between business and technical stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

Extensive experience in technical project management or analytics-focused program delivery
Strong leadership and people management skills
Solid experience managing cross-functional and vendor teams
Proven ability to present complex ideas to senior stakeholders
Experience with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, SmartSheets, etc.)
Background in cloud technologies , data architecture , and BI/analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx)
