Summary: Utilizes all necessary tools and resources to facilitate the timely and satisfactory completion and issuance of title insurance commitments, reports, and policies. Lends support to FJTS staff and clients prior to closing and follows up post-closing to resolve any problems or issues to generate a final title insurance policy. Ensures that the client receives quality customer service, and the final product meets the standards of excellence and expertise set forth by the company.

Job Responsibilities:

Title Administration

• Reads title abstracts to establish clear title.
• Analyzes county searches including ancillary tax, departmental and state searches.
• Prepares language for title commitments, reports, and letters.
• Drafts supporting documents such as escrow agreements and affidavits when necessary. Requests additional searches as needed.
• Reviews and analyzes surveys.
• Determines appropriate documentation and amounts when escrow is appropriate.

Customer Service

• Responds to client inquiries by phone or email, communicates with all parties involved including underwriters.
• Ensures all outstanding liens, judgments, etc. are appropriately communicated and addressed.

Document Review

• Reviews proposed mortgage and conveyance documents for completeness and recordability.
• Makes suggestions for procedural/technical changes to improve efficiency and reduce risk.

Job Knowledge and Compliance

• Keeps abreast of all laws and regulations affecting title issuance.
• Attends continuing education courses to maintain Title Producers License.
• Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required;
• A least 6 years of experience of New Jersey Title Service experience;
• At least 6 years of experience in a management capacity;
• New Jersey Title License required;
• Proficiency in preparing closing disclosures;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs;
• The ability to work independently, once trained, to complete work on a timely basis;
• The ability to work overtime when workload warrants;
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment and be detail oriented;
• The ability to communicate effectively;
• .Independent and highly motivated self-starter;
• Results oriented with proven track record to motivate self and others to accomplish objectives;
• Dedicated, enthusiastic, and driven; possesses a strong work ethic;
• A collaborator and team player, translating knowledge and experience into strong and productive relationships;
• Ability to deliver a seamless experience to the customer.

Schedule:

This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule; 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home based on business need.
