Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Training Documentation Assistant to turn in-house software training videos into clear, easy-to-follow guides. Using provided videos, transcripts, and templates, you will organize, edit, and illustrate each step to create polished user instructions that help others use our software effectively. All instructions and source materials are supplied...your focus is on making them clear, consistent, and visually helpful.
Key Responsibilities:
Watch in-house software training videos and review the transcript.
Use provided templates to create user guides or instruction manuals in Word or online tools like Scribe.
Capture screenshots from videos to illustrate key steps.
Ensure materials are clear, organized, and easy to follow, and adhere to our language guidelines.
Collaborate with internal teams to clarify instructions if needed.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Must have a Bachelors Degree.
Good written communication skills.
Comfortable using Word and online documentation tools such as Scribe.
Ability to follow templates and style guidelines.
No prior technical writing experience required training will be provided.
