Essential Duties and Responsibilities Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. Assist in all aspects of loan executions both agency and non-agency. Help Mortgage Banker including Seniors Housing with the best execution outcomes for various products. Partner with Mortgage Banker to “pitch” various execution options. Need to be able to act as product specialist across an array of various products (most importantly understanding Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac). For Agency execution: Partner with Agency Underwriters to underwrite and size the transaction. Manage the process from start to finish. For Non-Agency execution: TM will work closely with Coverage Banker, Head of Production and FCS Team to determine the best source of capital. Once a capital provider is chosen, the Transaction Manager will manage the process from start to finish. Work with support staff, underwriting and credit in the preparation of the preliminary and final loan submissions. Work with the Mortgage Banker, including Seniors Housing Mortgage Banker, to maintain client/pipeline data in Salesforce. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, or equivalent education and related training. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer skills; including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and drive to succeed. Ability to organize, direct and motivate others. Ability to meet deadlines. Capability to simultaneously handle a variety of assignments. Ability to travel, including overnight. Preferred Qualifications Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s degree in Finance or Real Estate. Proficiency in Salesforce, CoStar, Trepp and Argus. Deep understanding of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lending programs. Seven years of relevant experience within the commercial real estate finance industry, including a rotation in Senior Housing. The annual base salary for this position is $125,000 - $200,000.
