\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Must be on unit ready to go by 6:45 AM/PM
\n• 3 blocked 12-hour shifts with nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
\n• Weekend requirement: Days must work 4 weekend day shifts per 4-week schedule plus minimum 3 night shifts per 4-week schedule; Nights must work 4 weekend night shifts per 4-week schedule
\n• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are all considered weekend shifts
\n• Patient ratios typically 1:5, goal is 1:4, occasionally could be 1:6
\n• Must be able to titrate drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Labetalol, Nitro, and Heparin
\n• Required to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
\n• Must be able to float to Telemetry, MedSurg, or Pandemic Unit as needed with ratios up to 1:6 or possibly 1:7 in MedSurg
\n• Self-scheduling allowed as long as unit needs are met with 4 requested days off per month
\n• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs (top and bottom) with navy scrub jackets, no hoodies
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• BSN not required
\n• 50-mile radius rule applies
\n• Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license with submission
\n• EMR systems: Sunrise and Allscripts for charting
\n• Care for patients with chest pain, rule out MI, CHF, arrhythmias, post pacer, pre/post cardiac catheterizations, and Tikosyn therapy patients
\n• Floor orientation includes 4 hours with HR on first day, then remaining time with preceptor for first two days

The facility maintains 24/7 staffing including hospitalist coverage, intensivist support, IV team, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy services. The organization utilizes advanced telemetry monitoring systems and provides extensive clinical support to ensure high-quality patient care in an acute care setting.
