👶 Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

📋 Job Description

Sky Ridge Medical Center is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift travel assignment. This role involves caring for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and high-risk antepartum cases in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care through the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Support vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Coordinate care for postpartum and high-risk antepartum patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and compassionate care

✅ Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Certifications: BLS, NRP
• Preferred: ACLS, ALS

Preferred Experience:

• Mom/Baby, Pediatrics, and/or NICU

🏥 Unit Overview

• Beds:
  • 19 patient rooms
  • 6 PACU rooms
  • 6 triage rooms
  • 3 L&D ORs
• Staffing Matrix (Night Shift):
  • 1 Charge RN
  • 7–9 RNs
  • 1 CST
• Patient Ratios:
  • 2:1 standard
  • 1:1 for complicated patients
• Equipment:
  • FHR monitors (Novii and GE)
  • Fetal scalp electrodes (FSE)
• EMR Systems: CPN and Meditech
