Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Mother Baby - Post Partum position requiring a ME or compact RN license and strong OB nursing skills.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an OB unit covering labor, delivery, postpartum, antepartum, nursery, and post-op gyn patients
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• 13-week assignment in an acute care hospital setting
• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for mothers and newborns
• Care for a variety of OB patients including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecological patients
• Perform both general nursing and unit-specific clinical skills independently
• Participate in team-based care with physicians and other hospital personnel
• Must complete general nursing and unit orientation
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding confidentiality and patient rights

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active ME or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year of acute care experience
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, STABLE
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 per state mandate
• Demonstrated competency in OB nursing, strong written and oral communication, and computer skills
