American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience and required ARRT and BLS certifications for an acute care, trauma level II setting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Position is in an acute care hospital radiology department with trauma level II designation
  • Covers inpatient, outpatient, OR, and ED imaging for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics
  • Department operates 7 treatment areas with an average of 70-80 scans per day and 5-15 OR cases daily
  • Procedures include high-volume ER, fluoroscopy, portable exams, and busy OR cases
  • Utilizes OEC C-arms, Metronics O-arm, Fuji general and portable units, Siemens fluoroscopy equipment
  • EPIC EMR with Citrix is used; experience preferred
  • Varied shifts: 8 or 10 hours (weekday days starting at 0600, 0700, 0730, or 1130); includes call one day per week
  • Weekend shifts vary between 8, 12, and night shifts, with weekend call every third weekend
  • Call response time required is 20-30 minutes
  • Potential to float between inpatient, outpatient, ER, and OR areas
  • Duties include imaging for diverse patient populations and environments, participating in a busy ER and OR, and performing a variety of radiological procedures
  • 1.5-2 weeks of orientation includes clinical training and EPIC system instruction
  • Support provided by radiology supervisors and coordinators during day shifts
  • Radiologist on-site 8:00-16:30, after-hours images sent to teleradiology
  • Scrubs are provided
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles away and not have been employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity in the past year
  • Up to 7 days of RTO may be requested up front for each 13-week contract; additional RTO not permitted

  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • Active ARRT and BLS certifications required
  • Active ND state radiology license required; license required if applicable
  • Experience with C-arm and portable imaging required
  • Fluoroscopy experience required; O-arm experience preferred but can train
  • Two professional references required (one supervisor from past 12 months, one peer or supervisor from past 3 years)
  • Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
