PRIDESTAFF is currently seekling a motivated, dependable, and versatile Warehouse Associate for a client located in Romeoville, IL.

This role will begin as an ORDER PICKER which will ultimately transition into a FORKLIFT OPERATOR within the Inventory department.

1ST SHIFT
9AM-6PM M-F (may change to 8AM-5PM after training)

$16.50 per hour to start
RAISE UPON PROMOTION TO FORKLIFT DRIVER (1-2 weeks)

General job duties:

• Operate all material handling equipment needed (order picker, RF scanner, forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
• Perform discrepancy counts and recouts, cycle counting as assigned and directed
• Provide assistance and support to other departments such as Case Picking, Restocking, Staging, Pulling, etc.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• At least 6 months of recent warehouse experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience and understanding of material handling and order flow within a warehouse
• Ability to utilize an RF scanner and other handheld equipment
• Previous forklift experience and capabilities
• Attention-to-detail
• Inventory and/or auditing experience
• Reliable transportation, great work ethic, and team-player mentality

Candidates MUST:

• Must be at least18 years of age and able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment background and drug screen
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout shift
• Must have basic math skills and common sense
• Must be FLEXIBLE with start/end time (during 1st shift hours) and available for OT as needed
