Sanatan Bengali Society
is a socio-cultural, and humanitarian non-profit organization for the Hindu Bangladeshi and Indian Bengali community in U.S.A, established in the year 2010. Our organization helps preserve the Hindu culture for future generations, passing down values and other forms of Hinduism. We are based in Southern California.
Sanatan Bengali Society of California organizes various cultural, religious, and entertaining events year round. We are dedicated to helping our Bengali culture thrive while also allowing people to enjoy themselves.

SBS has been successfully hosting cultural and religious events and keeping our community together for many years. Sanatan Bengali Society is proud to annouce the sponsorship of five (3 girls and 2 boys) bengali orphans. Sanatan Bengali Society donated $11000.00 for Bangladeshi Hindu minorities who were affected on Durga Puja-2021. This donation sent through Ramkrishna Mission, Chittagong and Bharat Sebasram,Bangladesh.

OUR MISSION:
- Create a home away from home for the Bengali diaspora by establishing a cultural and social organization to serve the community and to nourish our tradition and culture for generations to come.
- Build a bridge between the Bengali community and the United States, by promoting the exchange of multicultural programs and literary endeavors.
- Promoting awareness of Bengali ethnic identity and its rich cultural and spiritual heritage through year-round initiatives.
- Making a positive impact in the lives of underprivileged individuals.
- Building a close-knit community and fostering unity among people.
OUR VISION:
We aim to establish a Community Center that enriches its members and communities by celebrating our diverse cultural heritage. This includes:
- Providing educational resources across Southern California to teach Bengali language, culture, tradition, and spirituality.
- Hosting cultural events showcasing Bengali and contemporary music, dramas, and dances.
- Organizing conferences and meetings to facilitate networking, learning, and personal and professional growth.
- Arranging seminars and symposia that unite Bengali youth and their Bangladeshi-American peers to explore the challenges faced by first and second-generation immigrants.
- Conducting fundraising events to support scholar students in Bangladesh, disaster relief and charitable causes.
- Help community members in need of assistance, irrespective of their ethnic backgrounds.
- Will encourage athletic activities within our diaspora.
