Warm Greetings from Sanatan Bengali Society of California
Pradip Paul, President of Sanatan Bengali Society of California, extends heartfelt greetings to all members and wishes everyone a joyous, memorable, and spiritually enriching Durga Puja celebration. For over 15 years, our organization has been dedicated to serving the Bengali community in Southern California, preserving Hindu culture, fostering community bonding, and supporting charitable causes.
Our Devotional and Philanthropic Initiatives
– Cultural Events: We organize various cultural, religious, and entertaining events throughout the year, including Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja, and Saraswati Puja, to promote spiritual growth and community connection.
– Charitable Causes: We support deserving students, like Pramshis Kar, Oyshi Ghosh, and Sonjoy Roy, who are pursuing their academic goals with our financial assistance. We also strive to provide opportunities for students to migrate to countries like the USA, Canada, and European nations through online diploma programs.
– Community Outreach: We collaborate with local organizations to diversify the community’s cultural, social, and spiritual enrichment.
– Student Financial Support: We provide financial assistance to deserving students, including sponsoring five Bengali orphans and other underprivileged children, empowering them to achieve their academic goals.
– Disaster Relief: We have donated $11,000 to Bangladeshi Hindu minorities affected during Durga Puja in 2021 and have also provided food and shelter to those in need in flood-affected areas of Feni and Noakhali.
– Supporting Minorities in Bangladesh: We support minorities in various ways, raising their voices for their rights and protecting humanity. Many minorities in Bangladesh face immense challenges, losing their loved ones, property, and dignity. We strive to make a difference.
– Culture and Humanity Education in Bangladesh: We support 5 centers of Gita school established by Patanjali, a 100% volunteer organization. We’ve taken responsibility for all expenses of these 5 centers, where over 100 students benefit. Our goal is to instill humanity and the power of love, helping them overcome challenges.
