About the Role

We’re looking for an Executive Director of Strategic Accounts who is sharp, fast-moving, relentless in pursuit of opportunity and knows what delivery excellence looks like. This is a high-impact, high-energy role for someone with a strong industry network who thrives on building deep client relationships, generating business, and delivering real value in client engagements. You are the person clients call first when they need a thought partner, a new perspective, or a solution to a problem that no one else has

This role is for a builder, a connector, a strategist, and a closer. You will own a set of pharma and biotech clients, hunting for new opportunities while seamlessly delivering as the strategic thought partner and execution lead. Your job is to grow revenue through strategic leadership and thought partnership, authentic relationship management and expertly leading the delivery team. You are an indispensable strategic partner to our clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow a portfolio of high-value, client relationships in 1-3 biopharma and med device clients, driving $2M–$5M+ in annual revenue.
  • Lead strategic account management and delivery —anticipating client needs, deepening partnerships, and securing long-term engagements.
  • Drive business development through your network, industry knowledge, and ability to create opportunities where none existed.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients , informing and supporting their strategy, decision-making, and internal positioning.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal client teams , ensuring flawless execution while keeping your focus on the bigger picture.
  • Navigate organizations effortlessly, embedding yourself so seamlessly that clients forget you’re not actually part of their team.
  • Travel to support growth and delivery – defined by the needs of the client (ideally embedded with key clients 1–2 days per week onsite; additional travel for business development opportunities and key projects).

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic account management, professional services, consulting, or business development in biopharma or relevant industry. 5+ years of experience leading teams, developing people and ensuring flawless execution.
  • Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotech landscape.
  • Proven ability to sell and expand multimillion-dollar client relationships.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to hold your own in the C-suite.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking , emotional intelligence, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to navigate complexity and operate successfully in the grey zone; anticipate barriers, and turn challenges into bigger opportunities.
