Job Description

Our client, Cummins Filtration is seeking Machine Operators to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Production Team supporting Automotive Diesel Filter Manufacturing Process. The ideal candidate will be available to work any shift, overtime and reliability which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Cookeville, TN

Pay Range: $16ph

Schedule: Shift will be assigned after start date (7A-3P, 3P-11P, 11P-7A)

What’s the Job?

• Set up, Operate or tend more than one type of cutting or forming machine tool or robot. 
• Inspector workpieces for defects, and measure workpieces to determine accuracy of machine operation, using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments.
• Positioning parts, materials and sub-assemblies.
• Assembling components by examining connections for correct fit.
• Fastening parts and sub-assemblies.

What’s Needed?

• Basic knowledge of machine and tools is a plus (including design, uses, repair and maintenance). 
• Steady work history required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Able to stand the 8 hours of shift, walk, push, pull, bend and squat.
• Available to work up to 19 days straight. Shift will be assigned after start date, so you must be available to work any shift
